The BEST BEST Blueberry pancakes EVER!! So many blueberries that it's more like the pancake batter is mortar between cobblestones...and it's this way every time. Consistency in the cooking here is terrific. The staff is friendly. Just wish it were more quiet. Go at 6:30 AM if you want quiet...
I generally enjoy a good Cracker Barrel meal, and I've been here multiple times. My one-star reduction comes from inconsistent quality of service. Sometimes I've had a great meal, sometimes I haven't. Our server once brought one single biscuit and cornbread to the table for me and another guest I was slightly miffed by such a slim delivery. The maple-pecan chicken was also a bit of a joke. Other orders and visits have been great, but my last visit left a weak taste in my mouth and I'm disappointed to say I'm not sure when or if I'll return.
Oh my goodness, what a gem. We had never been to a Cracker Barrel, and didn't know what to expect. Cute little country store, and family dinning room. The service was great, as was the food. Ended the maple mustard pecan chicken dinner with pumpkin custard.
We love dining at Cracker Barrel because it's feels so down home and family. The food choices are awesome, delicious, high quality and reasonably priced. The staff and servers always courteous and helpful. Our server Romeo was fantastic.
